Crazy Lace Agate is found in Mexico.
Crazy Lace Agate has a variety of banks, orbicular structures and lace patterns. Each stone is unique.
It is believed to be 65 – 90 million years old.
Agates are primarily formed in cavities of volcanic rock.
Over time silica rich water seeps through the rocks depositing minerals inside the cavities, gradually building up and filling the cavity with semi-transparent material and quartz crystals.
The colours and patterns formed are sometimes mind blowing.
