Found in New South Wales, Australia

Rhodonite is a manganese silicate and takes its name from the Greek word ‘rhodon’ meaning rose.

Pink to deep red in colour often with black dendritic (meaning branch or fern like) inclusions of Manganese oxides.

It is believed to be 300-400 millions years old.

This feminine pink stone measures 3.5 cms at its wide x 5 cm in length.
