Reinventing and Refashioning 

Jenny was born in Sydney, lived in Vancouver, Canada and after travelling to different parts of the world, is now based in Northern Rivers, NSW, Australia.

Jenny mixes old and new to rework pieces – creating earrings, brooches, necklaces and cape/jacket designs.  Each of Jenny’s pieces are inspired and evolved by colour, a curio, fabric and/or a beautiful stone and she gives beautiful vintage treasures a new life.

Since 2o004 Jenny has been designing jewellery and fabric/yarn items after being inspired by local artists in Vancouver, Canada and other parts of the world she has visited.

Jenny’s fabric capelets and jackets are made with super soft silk or vintage soft blend fabrics which means they are not bulky and can be stashed into a handbag, also the fabric is loose enough so that it is easily worn by all and also maintaining it’s shape.

Some of Jenny’s favourite materials include pearls, clay beads, unique Indonesian beads, vintage buttons, vintage brooches, recycled ties, vintage fabrics and silver cutlery, ribbon, epoxy, as well as different textured fabrics and yarns.

Creative Artisans is a not-for-profit organisation created to provide a channel for talented local artists and artisans to display and sell their creations. We are located in Ballina in Northern NSW and our artists come from around the Northern Rivers area.
