Deni ‘Grace’ Essex is a watercolour, oil, acrylic and pastels Artist
As an accomplished artist, for her works Deni uses watercolour, oil, acrylic and pastels which have a very expressive impressionist style and display a passion for colour, movement, and light.
Deni was born and educated in the rural backdrop of Northern NSW and has developed a keen interest in art from a young age – a sketchbook and pencil were never far from her grasp. Art became the natural focus for Deni’s further studies and she used her abilities for many years as an Art Teacher at Lismore TAFE.
Deni has exhibited extensively and sold many works to private collectors, in Australia and overseas. Her varied use of medium compliments a diverse range of subject matter – such as portraiture, landscape, seascape and still life … to name a few.
Life experiences have provided Deni a template for powerful inspiration and most recently, a passionate interest in spirituality is reflected in Deni’s latest works with the use of symbolism expressing love, gratitude and joy.
